I korthet

As a Project Engineer specializing in Ovation Control & SCADA for Solar, BESS, and Wind projects, you will manage the entire project lifecycle from analysis and design to testing and commissioning. This role requires a degree in Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in DCS/PLC programming and commissioning, along with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Ansvarsområden

Manage the complete Project Life Cycle including inputs analysis, Design & Engineering, Testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and commissioning.
Lead Ovation controls and Ovation Green SCADA based Solar/BESS/Wind projects, including software and hardware engineering and configuration.
Guide team on implementing controls, modifications of control Logics/SCADA, and configuration on 3rd party protocols.
Prepare and guide the team on IO list, Datasets and DBID.
Distribute engineering work, participate in meetings, and engage in customer demos, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities.
Execute PSCAD, PSSE, Digsilent modeling and review models, and read electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs).
Perform process testing of Solar/BESS/Hybrid plants and apply knowledge of industrial standards (IEEE, IEC, NEC, Grid codes).
Work with Ovation Green product team on Matlab, PPC, and Java script.
Perform Ovation system setup, redundancy and I/O testing, and fault finding during commissioning.
Diagnose faults in Ovation system, network, and communication interfaces (OPC, Modbus, DNP3, etc.).
Commission Solar/BESS/Wind/Hybrid plants for commercial operation, including travel for site assignments and tuning of electrical control functions.

Krav

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, C&I, Power Engineering).
Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in DCS/PLC programming / Engineering / commissioning.
Ability to troubleshoot DCS/PLC control system.
Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written.
Ability to travel for 30 to 40% as per job requirements.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors.
Good understanding of safety tools and gears, and safety guidelines of working at site.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Good knowledge of Solar, BESS power plant process and KPI’s.
Knowledge of electrical equipment like switchboards, generators, turbines, AVRs, motors, transformers, capacitors, CTs, VTs, feeders, meters, relays.
Knowledge in C programming, Matlab, Java script, SQL.
