Emerson seeks a Project Business Specialist for their PMO team in Shakopee, MN. This hybrid role involves directing complex projects, managing schedules, ensuring customer deliverables are met, and providing pre-sale and post-sale administrative support. The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience or a High School Diploma with 6 years of experience, and is authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Ansvarsområden

  • Direct work on complex projects and accounts by assigning work across functional areas.
  • Manage the project/order schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure customer deliverables are accurately submitted.
  • Identify information needs of each work group and ensure they are met.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and Field Sales Reps via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Provide pre-sale and post-sale administrative support for Measurement products on assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary customer order contact by assisting in identifying customer requirements.
  • Provide regular progress reports for all stakeholders.
  • Direct the preparation of project orders.
  • Resolve non-standard issues throughout the project cycle.
  • Execute customers’ special requirements (inspections, documentation, special invoicing needs, etc.) for successful project order execution.
  • Maintain an understanding of general business practices and ensure Emerson’s standard business terms and conditions are addressed.
  • Familiarity with the process industry and business systems.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of business systems, process industry and Import/Export compliance.
  • Participate in process improvements utilizing Rosemount’s Quality tools.

Krav

  • 4 Years and an Associate’s Degree OR 6 Years and a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

  • Order management experience preferred
  • Experience leading customer meetings to align customer needs with business capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skilled in timely and effective communication
