Fleming and Baron, an ASSA ABLOY company, is looking for a Production Supervisor for the Afternoon Shift (4:00 pm - 12:30 am) at their Woodbridge, Ontario manufacturing facility. This role involves leading production operations in the Door Department, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery, and requires 4-6 years of manufacturing supervision experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Oversee production operations in the Door Department during the afternoon shift.
  • Lead and support production teams to meet daily schedules and performance targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Train, coach, and develop employees while promoting teamwork and engagement.
  • Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.
  • Support coverage for other supervisors when needed.
  • Special assignments as assigned.

Krav

  • Post-secondary education in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of manufacturing supervision or management experience.
  • Union environment experience preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience.
  • Production scheduling and work planning experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Flexibility to work other shifts for coverage as required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • CNC and metal-forming experience considered an asset.
