Responsibilities
- Oversee production operations in the Door Department during the afternoon shift.
- Lead and support production teams to meet daily schedules and performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Train, coach, and develop employees while promoting teamwork and engagement.
- Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Support coverage for other supervisors when needed.
- Special assignments as assigned.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 4–6 years of manufacturing supervision or management experience.
- Union environment experience preferred.
- Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience.
- Production scheduling and work planning experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Flexibility to work other shifts for coverage as required.
Desired Qualifications
- CNC and metal-forming experience considered an asset.
