Autoliv seeks a Process Engineer in Promontory to provide technical support for powder processing and manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, leading improvement projects, and implementing new technologies to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations.

Ansvarsområden

Provide engineering support for powder processing equipment, including hoppers, spray dryers, tablet presses, filters, blenders, mixers, mills, and sieves, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve production process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve manufacturing performance.
Lead facility and process improvement projects, including equipment upgrades and capacity enhancement initiatives to increase efficiency and reliability.
Evaluate, specify, and implement new processing and automation technologies, including robotic solutions, to optimize manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to support quality standards, process control, continuous improvement efforts, and operational excellence.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency with engineering and analytical tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab (or equivalent statistical software), MS Office, and MS Project.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with experience applying structured methodologies such as 8D, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles.
Working knowledge of PLCs and strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated accountability, integrity, and commitment to delivering quality results, with the ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 40 lbs. and climbing ladders when required.
