Microsoft is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy for the developer experience of Business Applications in Work IQ and Dataverse. This role involves defining vision, strategy, and roadmaps for pro developers and agents, focusing on API, SDK, and CLI integration, and fostering the developer ecosystem. The position requires strategic platform choices, cross-team leadership, and a focus on developer and customer outcomes.

Ansvarsområden

Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for developer experiences across Business Applications in Work IQ and Dataverse, owning business outcomes like active usage, consumption growth, and revenue.
Determine persona paths and protocols (pro developers, ISVs, makers, coding agents, third-party agents) for building on Dataverse or connecting through Work IQ protocols.
Design paths from first connection to production across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, and third-party agents, building reusable platform capabilities.
Track the evolution of the pro developer ecosystem, including coding agents and agent frameworks, to decide where Dataverse and Work IQ should integrate and invest.
Ensure customer trust in agents through clear admin controls, security, and compliance.
Lead cross-team efforts with engineering, core Dataverse platform, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Work IQ, and Copilot product teams.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and the field to bring capabilities to market and represent the developer roadmap to customers, partners, and senior leaders.
Own the developer scorecard, from first build to production deployment, repeat usage, and paid growth, using it to guide investment decisions.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market.
8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market.
8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience.
Track record of leading strategy for enterprise platform or developer products, from concept to growth.
Deep understanding of AI agents and agent protocols such as MCP and A2A, and how they apply to business applications.
Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and evolving customer needs.
Extensive experience in analytics, experimentation, and data storytelling that leads to action.
Growth mindset and conviction to do the right thing for users, with excellent communication and leadership skills across teams.
Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio.
Experience with B2B SaaS product management for external customers, including enterprise data security or governance.
Deep familiarity with the pro developer and coding-agent ecosystem, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and Codex, with hands-on experience building with these tools.
Experience working with partners or developer communities.
Experience with AI agents, including the product and safety considerations when agents act on business data.
Ability to make sound product decisions and keep momentum while requirements and ownership are still being defined.

Förmåner

Base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $165,600 - $296,400 per year.
Different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
