The Pricing Specialist will manage product pricing and discount structures for GWS, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and business objectives. This role involves setting list prices, monitoring discount usage, conducting analysis, and supporting strategic pricing decisions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Set and maintain accurate product list prices and manage discount structures.
  • Monitor discount usage and identify trends or erosion of price realization.
  • Conduct regular price and discount analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support the annual price planning process with data and analysis.
  • Analyze market and competitor pricing and discounting.
  • Support the maintenance and application of pricing policies and processes.
  • Participate in internal and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Engage in Sandvik Safety First Culture and Core Values.

Krav

  • Proficient in fundamentals of big data and analytics.
  • Strong MS Excel skills required.
  • Solid understanding of metal cutting products, discount structures, and price-realization concepts.
  • Good networking and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and propose sound recommendations.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of product pricing and profitability principles.
  • Practical understanding of discount management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • University degree level in Economics, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 2–4 years professional experience in Pricing, Product management, Sales, or Finance.
  • Hands-on experience with product pricing and/or discount management in a non-managerial, individual-contributor role.
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
