Ansvarsområden
- Provide purchasing and procurement support ensuring production continuity and efficiency.
- Identify and address actual and potential supply shortages, taking ownership of remedial actions.
- Raise purchase orders in line with demand and company policy.
- Manage design changes, re-specifications, pricing, ordering, and delivery of parts.
- Expedite procured items to minimize production disruption.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of procurement data.
- Collate internal customer feedback on supplier performance.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers and implement performance improvement plans.
- Undertake procurement projects to drive down prices and ensure value.
- Support sourcing activities for items based on "fit, form, and function".
- Maintain a tidy working environment and participate in the EHS program.
Krav
- Experience in handling Heavy Steel Fabrication.
- Previous experience as a buyer in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to monitor supplier performance against set KPIs.
- Ability to identify upcoming supply risks and take action to avoid them.
- Experience using an MRP system.
- Previous experience of working in a changing and pressurized role with demanding deadlines.
- Good planning, time management, and organizational skills.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Degree educated in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field preferred or professionally qualified to an equivalent level – CIPS level 6.
- Candidates with significant relevant procurement and sourcing experience will be considered in place of formal degree qualifications.
