ASSA ABLOY is seeking an Operations Supervisor for their Mesquite, Texas facility on the second shift. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing a team of 30+ in production areas like frame manufacturing, door modification, and welding, with a focus on safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing and a strong understanding of lean principles.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead daily production operations for a 30+ person team across frame manufacturing, door frames, door modification, and welding.
  • Maximize productivity while minimizing waste and inefficiencies.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output.
  • Plan and schedule resources to meet production goals.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Maintain safe equipment, tools, and work environments.
  • Implement quality control standards and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute operational strategies and budgets.
  • Undertake special assignments as assigned.

Krav

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in metal forming or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • ERP system experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
