Qualcomm China is seeking a Mobile Power Optimization Engineer to develop and optimize software for mobile platforms. This role involves analyzing power bottlenecks, collaborating with global teams, and contributing to system-level design to enhance power efficiency.

Ansvarsområden

SW program/code/script development in Qualcomm Platform.
Analyze the power/performance bottleneck of mobile platform.
Provide advice and co-work with other teams to improve the power.
Take part in the system level design from the beginning to achieve better power.
New feature/requirement estimation, development, validation, and release.
Co-work with internal global Tech teams, PM teams, and CE teams.
Co-work with Chipset team to do power projection/Analysis/Optimization.
Descript/Analyze/Solve power issue/problem from SW and HW side.
Be responsible for studying and observing frontier technical and research of Mobile.
Collect logs / RAM Dump and track issue/problem resolved.

Krav

Demonstrate programming skills in C/C++/Python.
Rich experience in Linux and Android driver development.
Strong knowledge of Mobile architecture, including CPU, GPU, Memory and peripherals.
Strong knowledge on Linux kernel development - CPU Sched, Frequency DCVS, BW governor, CPU LPM and drivers.
Basic knowledge of digital and analog circuits.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
Master’s degree in CS, EE or equivalent, 3+ years’ experience.
Good communication skills and teamwork.
High passion to achieve better performance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Previous experience as Staff Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Lead Engineer.
