This Master's thesis project aims to enhance the correlation between RF measurements and HFSS simulations of PCB matching networks. The work involves investigating alternative PCB probing techniques for improved repeatability and developing detailed simulation models, including component integration and automation.

Investigate alternative PCB probing and interconnection techniques for improved repeatability.
Quantify the impact of different probing approaches on measurement consistency and accuracy.
Develop detailed HFSS simulation models of matching network structures.
Incorporate 3D models of passive components into the simulation environment.
Automate the assignment and integration of component models into HFSS.
Automate the RF matching process.

Krav

Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Wireless Communication, or similar.
Basic understanding of RF measurements and microwave engineering.
Interest in electromagnetic simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS.
Experience with scripting or automation (Python is advantageous).
