Emerson seeks a Manufacturing Technician for a 1-year contract in Singapore. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment stability, performing maintenance and repairs, managing spare parts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency. The role requires proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, knowledge of PLCs and automation systems, and experience with preventive maintenance.

Ansvarsområden

Address production redlights related to equipment/tool failure and ensure timely recovery of manufacturing operations.
Perform equipment/facility maintenance activities, including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
Execute in-house testing and calibrations of equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors in the execution of contract services and projects.
Manage spare parts, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and tracking of critical spares.
Drive continuous equipment improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve performance, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
Support in executing production rework activities to ensure product quality and compliance with specification.

Krav

Proficient in equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and maintenance support for resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
Experience in performing preventive maintenance activities including inspections, servicing, calibration and replacement of wear & tear components.
Working knowledge of PLCs and automation systems.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or any related field.
Minimum 3 years of related manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of welding automation systems and process is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
