The Manufacturing Materials Handler (2nd Shift) is responsible for safety-compliant material handling using PIVs, reception of goods, and maintaining equipment. This role requires a High School diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 40lbs, and proficiency in reading technical specifications. An Associate's degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
  • Rigging and lifting parts for reception/material handling.
  • Material handling using different types of PIV’s.
  • Reception of goods into system, matching documentation with correct product.
  • Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
  • Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
  • Align with all safety and work instructions.
  • Maintain clear communication within department.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.
  • Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to "make-to-order".
  • Maintain competitive cost associated assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.

Krav

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 – 3 years proven experience working with Receiving and Rigging/Lifting.
  • Skilled PIV operator.
  • Previous Oracle experience.
