HID is seeking a Machine Operator II in Austin, Texas to perform day-to-day operations including machine programming, light maintenance, and ensuring operational KPIs are met. This role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ansvarsområden

Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines.
Conducting manual production operations as required.
Verifying BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork, and markings.
Complying with SOPs and work instructions related to job functions.
Performing daily 5S activities and preventive maintenance (PM) of equipment and surrounding areas.
Meeting performance standards that positively contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs.
Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and communicating opportunities for better performance.
Proactively logging and escalating potential safety, quality, delivery, or operational issues.
Participating in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.
Supporting organizational objectives through adherence to operational and quality requirements.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Krav

Must possess the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.
Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment.
Accepts and embraces constant change as a necessary factor to success.
Must have a minimum of one year manufacturing experience.
Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Familiarity with in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel is preferred.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
