Ansvarsområden
- Operate and maintain conventional and special-purpose machines to fabricate structural parts and assemblies.
- Provide materials to workstations and various locations as needed.
- Read blueprints or instructions for job specifications.
- Set up, operate, and maintain machines, including loading, machining, unloading, and de-burring.
- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions for accuracy.
- Select and secure tools, fixtures, accessories, and materials.
- Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
- Replace and install machined parts, ensuring proper functionality.
- Use precision measuring devices to check work and troubleshoot issues, escalating concerns when needed.
- Transport product to assigned department.
- Safely rig and transport structures and products using overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Maintain a tidy work area during and after each shift.
- Prioritize safety and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation.
- Crosstrain in different areas to enhance team flexibility.
Krav
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- 1 year of professional experience related to manufacturing (preferred).
- Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers (required).
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints (preferred).
- Experience using industrial machines (preferred).
- Forklift operation certification (preferred).
- Overhead crane experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in one or more of the following equipment: radial drills, fin tube machinery, large vertical band saw, presses, breaks and shears.
