Ansvarsområden
- Off-load and inspect parts, placing them in proper racks for continuous operation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Assist in mill changeover processes and perform TPM of process and equipment.
- Perform visual quality checks for straightness, galv integrity, and length.
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
- Collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues promptly.
- Focus on mill production efficiency, problem resolution, and cost-saving opportunities.
Krav
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using special measuring devices, calipers, and tape measure.
- Ability to read part drawings to perform product inspections.
- Roll tooling experience with set-ups and changeovers.
- Demonstrated ability to meet negotiated timeframes.
- Forklift certification or experience.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Good communication skills with coworkers to ensure continuous flow of the mill.
- Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
