Amazon is seeking a Law Enforcement Response (LER) Specialist in Delhi NCR, India. This full-time, on-site role involves managing and responding to law enforcement requests, ensuring compliance with laws and Amazon's policies, and safeguarding customer data. The specialist will lead a team and act as a liaison with law enforcement agencies.

Ansvarsområden

Triage high request volumes and process law enforcement information requests.
Respond lawfully and accurately, ensuring privacy and security of business and customer information.
Meet urgent SLAs and process emergency requests, including outside normal business hours.
Communicate with law enforcement officers, Amazon employees, and others.
Manage and develop a team of associates.
Coordinate with internal Amazon partner teams to retrieve and validate information.
Use web-based applications and data-extraction tools.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and develop automation.
Assist in identifying patterns and trends from law enforcement requests.
Handle complex and challenging requests and special projects.
Sign and issue certificates/letters to authenticate digital evidence.
Represent Amazon in courts and law enforcement offices as required.

Krav

6–10 years of relevant experience (e.g., law enforcement / regulatory response, legal operations, compliance, trust & safety, or high-volume operations).
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent English-language communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong judgment.
Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing workload even during times of stress or escalated activity.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities at once.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and manage external stakeholders.
Experience responding to, or making, requests from law enforcement agencies.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Önskade kvalifikationer

Demonstrated experience managing external law enforcement or regulatory communications.
Familiarity with high-volume operational tools and data systems; comfort with data-retrieval concepts (SQL proficiency is not required).
Written and/or verbal proficiency in Hindi and/or any other Indian language.
Background in e-commerce, banking and financial services, or technology companies with trust & safety functions.
The ability to build trust with law enforcement officers while professionally pushing back.
Ability to guide officers toward legally compliant intake formats.
Ability to exercise independent, defensible judgment on complex and novel request types.
Ability to own outcomes end-to-end and raise the bar for the team through coaching and clear process.
