Ansvarsområden

Perform repair and maintenance of Sandvik equipment.
Carry out repair of equipment breakdowns at the work face.
Provide product support on technical issues.
Actively promote genuine Sandvik spares.
Assist with completion of supportive production documentation.
Carry out scheduled audit of equipment.
Identification and feedback of equipment defects.
Support the compilation of accurate data for warranty process.
Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on equipment.
Keep technical personnel advised of any relevant information.
Become a safety leader and participate to improve the zero-harm culture.
Adhere to all Sandvik Policies and Procedures.
Implement improvements suggested by Product company.
Eliminate repetitive failures and improve component performance.
Carry out planned maintenance in workshop.
Analyze lubrication oil test reports.
Prepare RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) and provide guidance.
Ensure all tooling is maintained and checked for safe operation.
Analyze MTTR / MTBF for all equipment and take corrective measures.
Liaise with customer to seek feedback on product performance.
Prepare SOP on maintenance and repair practices.
Support development of colleagues by conducting on the job & classroom training.
Develop successor’s.
Keep audit of machine and proper fitment of parts.
Execution of shift records.
Conduct site base operator training.

Krav

Degree/Diploma in Engineering
6-7 years of hands-on and leadership experience of handling service of Drill or mining applications
Practical experience of critical troubleshooting of Drill
Good people management capability and ability to train people.
Actively involved in the service operations in a complex service set-up and multi-cultural environment.
Worked in a Contract situation with Sandvik equipment on a customer site.
Computer literacy including MS-Excel, Word and Power point.
English communication skill.
Strong safety focus and understanding and awareness of safety in a mining and / or heavy industrial environment.
Ability to read schematics.
Excellent diagnostic ability to troubleshoot maintenance problems.
Ability to inspect all major jobs before releasing the equipment.
Experienced at understanding and communicating the cost implications of incorrect maintenance.
Ability to transfer knowledge early to another person through coaching and mentoring.
