As a Junior R&D Engineer with ABB in Poland, you will support the Quality & Reliability team by analyzing failed parts, identifying root causes through data analysis, and monitoring non-conformities. This hybrid role requires an M.Sc. in electrical engineering and strong problem-solving skills.

Ansvarsområden

Support the strategic technology direction by contributing ideas for innovative technology, software, and solutions.
Assist the Quality & Reliability (Q&R) team by executing assigned tasks and using technical knowledge.
Stay abreast of the latest developments and actively apply this knowledge.
Analyze failed parts and subsystems to identify the point of failure.
Analyze data to prove or disprove failure hypotheses and uncover root causes.
Monitor factory non-conformities and follow up on improvement actions to verify their effectiveness.
Collaborate with local and global ABB experts, component manufacturers, external laboratories, and universities.

Krav

M.Sc. in electrical engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar role, or through an internship, in electrical design, quality and reliability, failure analysis, or electrical testing.
Problem-solving skills, and experience in conducting failure analysis and working with data analysis.
Good command of English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in the field of power electronics.
Practical experience testing electric circuits or PCBAs.
Experience working with data analysis to take initiative and coordinate own and stakeholders’ work.
Building, maintaining and effectively utilizing Power BI statistics is considered beneficial for the role.
