Emerson is looking for a Junior Project Proposal Engineer for a one-year fixed-term role in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. The position involves collaborating with sales and product teams to create technical proposals, manage order entry, and process change requests. Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and manufacturing sites.
  • Review customer inquiries and develop technical and commercial proposals.
  • Participate in proposal kick-off calls with sales channels and customers.
  • Prepare documentation for order entry into business systems.
  • Process change order requests.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations and support sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of workflows and proposal activities.
  • Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities.
  • Practice and promote a strong “Customer Thinking” mindset.

Krav

  • Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • A technical or engineering background (mechanical, industrial, chemical, or similar fields).
  • Ability to organize work independently and contribute positively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to understand business drivers and apply them to daily decisions.
  • Curiosity and analytical thinking.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in sales support, proposals, or customer service within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Ability to communicate in additional European languages.
  • Familiarity with working in cross-functional, international teams.
