Ansvarsområden
- Contribute to projects on the future of AI for developers.
- Collaborate across disciplines with product teams at Microsoft and Github.
- Stay up-to-date with research literature and product advances in AI for software engineering.
- Create new datasets from public code and internal Microsoft data.
- Build and manage large-scale ML experiments and models.
Krav
- Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in a relevant field.
- Must be enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in a relevant field during the academic term immediately before the internship.
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of a Doctorate Degree program remaining following the internship.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 1+ year(s) experience in Calculus, Probability and Statistics and/or Machine Learning.
- 1+ year(s) experience in one or more general purpose programming languages including: C/C++, Java, R or Python, and domain relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- 1+ year(s) experience (classroom or work related) in one or more areas of computer science, such as Natural Language Understanding, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Data Science, Privacy, etc.
Förmåner
- Base pay range: $5,690.00 - $11,210.00 per month.
- Potential for higher pay in San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: $7,410.00 - $12,250.00 per month.
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI research.
- Collaboration with scientists, engineers, and designers across Microsoft Research, product teams, and Github.
- Experience building and training state-of-the-art models.
- Opportunity to apply and advance LLMs for software engineering.
