Qualcomm is looking for software engineers for an interim internship role, focusing on designing and developing software for cutting-edge mobile chipsets. The role involves working with multimedia, wireless, platform, and IoT technologies on platforms like Android, Windows Mobile, and Linux.

Ansvarsområden

Design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets.
Work on multimedia technologies such as Audio and Video codecs, Image Processing.
Engage with Wireless Modem Technologies, such as 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Self-Organizing Networks.
Contribute to Platform Level SW, such as, Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages.
Develop for IoT Technologies, for Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality.
Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
Perform Mobile SW development for Windows Mobile, Android or Linux.
Develop Multimedia software stack, firmware and driver.
Develop Wireless Modem and connectivity Software and Firmware.
Develop Communication protocol stack Software.
Develop Kernel, BSP and Device Driver.
Engage in Application SW and UI development.
Contribute to SW Architecture for embedded devices based on Android, Windows.
Design and development based on Object oriented programming.

Krav

Good understanding of OS concepts, Data structures.
Proficiency in C/C++ and object oriented design.
Familiarity with wireless network standards such as CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE.
Experience with Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development.
Knowledge of protocols such TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP etc.
Understanding of multimedia technologies including Audio, Video, Imaging.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to collaborate and work in teams.
Good verbal and written communication skill.
Masters, Bachelors: Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, ECE.
