Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets.
- Work on multimedia technologies such as Audio and Video codecs, Image Processing.
- Engage with Wireless Modem Technologies, such as 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Self-Organizing Networks.
- Contribute to Platform Level SW, such as, Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages.
- Develop for IoT Technologies, for Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality.
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
- Perform Mobile SW development for Windows Mobile, Android or Linux.
- Develop Multimedia software stack, firmware and driver.
- Develop Wireless Modem and connectivity Software and Firmware.
- Develop Communication protocol stack Software.
- Develop Kernel, BSP and Device Driver.
- Engage in Application SW and UI development.
- Contribute to SW Architecture for embedded devices based on Android, Windows.
- Design and development based on Object oriented programming.
Requirements
- Good understanding of OS concepts, Data structures.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and object oriented design.
- Familiarity with wireless network standards such as CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development.
- Knowledge of protocols such TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP etc.
- Understanding of multimedia technologies including Audio, Video, Imaging.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work in teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skill.
- Masters, Bachelors: Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, ECE.
