As an Indirect Commodities Business Partner, you will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and partner with stakeholders to drive cost savings and ensure compliance. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish. This is an on-site position in Mexicali, Mexico.

Ansvarsområden

Develop and implement sourcing and commodity strategies.
Analyze spend, supplier capabilities, and market trends.
Lead RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
Serve as the primary procurement partner for assigned indirect spend categories.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR, Facilities, IT, Legal, and Business Unit leaders.
Promote procurement policies, sourcing processes, and preferred supplier programs.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on quality, service, delivery, innovation, and cost competitiveness.
Support capital projects and major sourcing initiatives.
Develop and execute annual cost reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, legal requirements, and contractual obligations.
Support supplier risk assessments, business continuity planning, and supply chain resilience initiatives.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, category management, or supply chain.
Experience managing indirect spend categories such as MRO, Capital Equipment, Facilities, Professional Services, IT, Utilities, or related categories.
Strong negotiation, contract management, supplier management, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline.
Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or equivalent.
Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar procurement systems.
Experience with eSourcing tools, procurement systems, and supplier relationship management processes preferred.
