Emerson is seeking an IDM Buyer in Chihuahua, Mexico. This role focuses on continuous improvement in cost, lead time, quality, and logistics for indirect materials. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery.

Ansvarsområden

Pursue continuous improvements in cost, lead time, quality, commercial terms, and logistics costs.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, supply base optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate documentation of commercial terms, technical specifications, and payment conditions.
Proactively monitor purchase orders to ensure supplier on-time deliveries and availability of materials and services.
Maintain and control procurement systems to ensure compliance with KPIs and Service Level goals.
Proficient in MS Office.

Krav

4 years or more of work experience preferable as an equipment, machinery, and inputs buyer.
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, International Business or Engineering.
Fluid English (B2).
Ability to travel including internationally (USA-VISA).

Outstanding Knowledge in MRO parameters.
Indirect warehouse & Inventory experience.
Oracle Software (desirable).
