As Head of MetOcean, you will lead a specialized team responsible for understanding marine and atmospheric environments for offshore wind projects. This leadership role involves managing people, setting strategic direction, driving innovation, and ensuring the effective use of MetOcean data for project success.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead, coach, and support a diverse team of MetOcean specialists.
- Define the long-term vision and capability roadmap for the MetOcean function.
- Ensure the team has the right skills, tools, and resources.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in forecasting, modelling, and analytics.
- Establish and maintain high standards for quality, governance, and delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Translate complex marine and weather information into practical insights.
- Champion digitalization, data-driven work, and emerging technologies like AI.
Krav
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing specialist or technical teams.
- Ability to create clarity, inspire collaboration, and enable others.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience influencing decisions and building alignment across functions.
- Experience gained within offshore wind, marine industries, energy, environmental services, large-scale infrastructure projects, or similar complex environments.
- Experience managing programmes, budgets, consultants, and strategic initiatives.
- A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and developing people.
