Emerson is seeking a Hardware Digital Engineer in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. This role involves developing test and measurement products, owning full FPGA and digital board-level design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in digital logic design, VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog, and computer architectures.

Ansvarsområden

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary hardware engineering teams to develop test and measurement products.
Develop register maps and generate documentation.
Own the full FPGA design, including logic implementation, data movement and analysis, testbenches, compilation, and timing analysis.
Own all aspects of digital board level design, including schematic entry, layout guidelines, signal integrity simulations, and prototype validation.
Develop and execute plans for prototype hardware bring-up and board level validation.
Act as the voice of digital design in project meetings, estimating effort, providing status updates, and raising technical concerns.

Krav

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proficiency designing with digital logic and synchronous elements, including flip-flops, timing diagrams, and state machines.
Working knowledge of programmable logic design with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
Working knowledge of computer architectures and interfaces.
Fundamental knowledge of programming languages (e.g. python, C, LabVIEW).
Fundamental knowledge of analog circuit design.
