This temporary position offers a 1-year On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunity under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) at Volvo Group's Hosakote facility. The role focuses on quality monitoring, audits, issue resolution, and data reporting, ideal for engineering graduates and diploma holders seeking practical industry experience.

Ansvarsområden

Day-to-day monitoring & recording of Quality issues & generating Quality alerts.
Conduct quality audits and identify areas for improvement.
Generate Quality Notifications and work with Line QC to record Quality Issues.
Share Weekly & Monthly Quality data with the Manager.
Conduct Joint Quality review meetings with stakeholders.
Address Quality issues of supplier parts on the production line.
Support in judging the root cause of assembly issues in supplier parts & stock verification.
Follow up with suppliers for correction, corrective action & preventive actions.
Follow up on getting RCA & 8D from suppliers.
Constant interaction with SQE on improving the quality of parts delivered.
Verification of supplier reports & checking part reports against drawing requirements.

Krav

Good communication, Interpersonal & Teamwork skills.
Basics on usage of Measuring tools & equipment.
Good engineering drawing reading skills.
Basic know-how on usage of SAP, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Power-Bi knowledge is preferred.
Should be a quick learner, good team player & self-motivated.
Knowledge on fabrication, Painting & other manufacturing processes is preferred.
