This role focuses on GPU performance analysis for Qualcomm China in Shanghai, analyzing GPU bottlenecks and graphics pipelines for games. The engineer will contribute to improving next-generation GPUs by analyzing performance, developing tools, and supporting presilicon enablement.
Ansvarsområden
- Contribute to performance analysis at the GPU level for Graphics and Raytracing workloads.
- Exploit different SW/HW/Architectural knobs to find opportunities to improve performance.
- Engage in competitive performance/power analysis for benchmarks and games.
- Identify and explain performance gaps with evidence to drive next-gen architecture/HW/SW enhancements.
- Develop tools for efficient, streamlined, and scalable debug/validation tasks.
- Support presilicon workload enablement efforts.
Krav
- Understanding of GPU architecture.
- Rendering knowledge and ability to write rendering applications with Vulkan and other graphics APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Python and C++.
- Performance analysis experience.
- Sharp analytical skillset.
- Fluency in usage of latest AI tools for coding/debugging.
- Minimum Bachelor degree required.
- Fluent English communication skill.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Masters degree or PhD preferred.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Android experience preferred.
- GFXR capture/playback for Vulkan preferred.
- RenderDoc capture and data interpretation preferred.
- Experience in competitive performance for GPU centric use cases preferred.
- Post-si debugging experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
