Our manufacturing facility in Ontario, California, seeks a General Site Manager to lead daily operations, drive growth, and ensure profitability. This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in business development, P&L management, and operational excellence within manufacturing or distribution environments.
Ansvarsområden
- Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility/Service Center.
- Manage P&L, light manufacturing, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
- Drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Develop and execute local growth strategies with the sales team.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, fabricators, and architects.
- Identify new business opportunities and underserved customer segments.
- Ensure responsiveness, service excellence, and customer loyalty.
- Establish operational standards and KPIs for revenue, cost control, safety, and delivery.
- Manage financial performance including revenue, margin, and budget adherence.
- Develop organizational capabilities through employee training and development.
- Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment adhering to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies.
Krav
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of leadership experience with demonstrated success.
- Demonstrated success in business development, customer growth, branch management, account management, sales leadership, or operational leadership.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop customer relationships.
- Experience managing or influencing both operational and commercial objectives.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial performance, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean principles (Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Experience in metal forming or a related field and/or a general understanding of the commercial construction industry preferred.
- Leadership ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to develop relationships and influence all levels.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, follow-up, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to local customers with occasional overnight stays required.
