The Flow Team Manager will coordinate and optimize workflow processes, ensure quality standards, and support team development within the manufacturing department. This role involves leading flow teams, setting performance goals, implementing Lean principles, and managing operational planning, quality, time, and cost constraints.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead and coordinate assigned flow team and assembly/welding department shift leaders.
- Collaborate with the team to establish and evaluate performance goals.
- Deploy employees based on their qualifications.
- Continuously monitor work results and implement corrective measures.
- Drive improvements within the department focusing on personnel development and Lean principles.
- Assume tasks in the absence of the Operations Manager.
- Independently lead and optimize work planning and material flows for the Production Department.
- Collaborate with operational planning, including Project Management and New Product Introduction.
- Ensure product delivery meets quality standards within specified time and cost constraints.
- Lead work and project groups, including change meetings.
- Independently plan and monitor the budget, coverage, and costs.
- Conduct capacity and space planning for manufacturing and assembly cost centers.
- Continuously improve work methods, processes, and workflows.
- Sequence orders for optimal resource utilization and perform value stream analyses.
- Monitor and support the resolution of quality problems and the implementation of improvements.
- Oversee costs and deadlines related to requested production aids.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 10 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
- 5 years‘ managerial experience.
- Experience in managing and motivating teams and in leading safety, quality and other improvement projects.
- Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing lean practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated skill and achievement in successfully delivering quality products on-time.
- Solid experience with computerized MRP programs (Encompix preferred).
- Ability to work effectively with multiple groups to drive goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
