Sandvik is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Fire Suppression Technician for their Perth, Western Australia team. This full-time, permanent role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire suppression systems on mining equipment, requiring strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills.

Ansvarsområden

Install, service, maintain and repair fire suppression systems on mining equipment and machinery.
Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic work using hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Complete equipment audits and inspections, providing recommendations to improve reliability and performance.
Support the commissioning of new equipment and assist with new product implementation activities.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, warranty claims and other documentation.
Assist with training and accreditation activities relating to fire suppression systems.
Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to provide technical support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with site, industry and company standards.
Participate in field service activities, including travel to customer sites and occasional on-call requirements.

Krav

Exposure to field service work and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Experience with fire suppression systems and/or fire equipment servicing (highly regarded).
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding capabilities.
A strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Sound time management, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
Computer literacy and a professional approach to stakeholder engagement.
Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
