Ansvarsområden

Assist with daily cash application activities, including accurate payment posting, processing NSF chargebacks, and ensuring appropriate general ledger coding.
Support the preparation and completion of bank and general ledger reconciliations to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Assist with monthly account reconciliations by comparing general ledger balances with supporting operational or subledger information.
Investigate and analyze financial discrepancies, identify potential root causes, and work with team members to support timely resolution.
Support month-end close activities, including preparing reconciliation schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and reviewing financial information for accuracy and completeness.
Support the identification of opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency.
Contribute to projects involving process standardization, data validation, and automation of recurring accounting and reporting activities.

Krav

Actively enrolled in a college or university program in Accounting and Finance.
An interest in accounting, financial operations, financial analysis, and business process improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify potential solutions.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when working with financial information.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and structured data.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, or other data analysis and visualization tools would be considered an asset.

Hourly Wage Range: $21/hr - $23/hr
