Alfa Laval MESEA is seeking a Field Service Team Manager in Kempton Park, South Africa, to lead a team of Field Service Engineers across Eastern and Southern Africa. This role focuses on maintaining operational capability, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving service transformation through strong leadership and continuous improvement.

Ansvarsområden

Lead a team of Field Service Engineers for decanters, high speed separators, and heat exchangers.
Maintain operational capability while balancing customer, business, and team needs.
Create an excellent customer experience and meet Service market demands.
Secure a strong QHSE culture within the team.
Provide directions and ensure a customer-oriented mindset.
Ensure FSEs with the correct skills are selected for complex jobs.
Ensure the team is equipped with the right tools.
Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports, ensuring competence development.
Manage performance issues within the team.
Conduct FSE employee reviews and update competence profiles/skills matrices.
Ensure effective management of people in remote areas.
Ensure proper handover of jobs for invoicing.
Implement continuous efficiency improvements using innovative processes and technologies.
Lead change management to adapt to new market demands.
Implement and follow up on relevant KPIs.

Krav

Degree/diploma in Engineering or similar.
At least 5 years of experience managing teams of technicians/engineers.
Strong experience in Service, maintenance, repair, and assistance processes.
Exceptional time management/organizational skills.
Solid Computer and Digital Competence.
High business acumen, customer-focused mindset, and sales orientation.
Persistent, flexible, and resilient with high energy and proactiveness.
Passionate about leading, developing, and motivating teams.
A change driver, making and executing decisions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Knowledge in Alfa Laval equipment is valued.
Strong Communication & Presentation Skills.
