Emerson is looking for a Field Service Engineer in Altamonte Springs, FL, to provide on-site customer support for complex control systems. This role requires extensive travel up to 75% and offers a hybrid work option when not traveling. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, along with 2 years of related experience, is necessary.

Ansvarsområden

Analyze and solve engineering problems related to installation, start-up, and operation of control systems at customer locations.
Provide on-site instruction to customer personnel.
Write and modify maintenance procedures.
Conduct quality control tests and product evaluations.
Direct customer personnel in installation, modification, and repair of control systems.
Offer engineering advisory assistance to customers and act as a liaison within the company.
Create timely reports detailing activities and problems encountered.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical curriculum, or relevant experience in lieu of education.
Minimum 2 years of related experience engaging with customers for installation of control systems, loading application software, and installing/maintaining network equipment.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience programming with PLC and/or DCS software.
SCADA and datalink experience.
Experience with Emerson Ovation software.
