Edwards is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Taichung, Taiwan, to perform installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for customers. The role requires strong engineering understanding, customer interaction skills, and the ability to work independently.

Ansvarsområden

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, trouble shooting, and field support in tsmc.
  • Understand customer requests and report to Field Service Team Leader.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation, self-discipline, and a customer-sensitive approach.
  • Respond to out-of-hours calls to ensure a response time of 2 hours is maintained.

Krav

  • Experience in field service activities is an advantage.
  • Experience working with computers, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English is an advantage.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings (electrical and mechanical) and schematic layouts is essential.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and fitting, electrical/PLC controls, and electronics is a plus.
  • A good understanding in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Inter-personal and communication skills are required to build sound relationships with customers.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Positive attitude to work under pressure.
  • Learning fast and being active.
