Edwards is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Taichung, Taiwan, to perform installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for customers. The role requires strong engineering understanding, customer interaction skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, trouble shooting, and field support in tsmc.
- Understand customer requests and report to Field Service Team Leader.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation, self-discipline, and a customer-sensitive approach.
- Respond to out-of-hours calls to ensure a response time of 2 hours is maintained.
Requirements
- Experience in field service activities is an advantage.
- Experience working with computers, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Good command of both written and spoken English is an advantage.
- Understanding of engineering drawings (electrical and mechanical) and schematic layouts is essential.
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and fitting, electrical/PLC controls, and electronics is a plus.
- A good understanding in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Inter-personal and communication skills are required to build sound relationships with customers.
- Be a good team player.
- Positive attitude to work under pressure.
- Learning fast and being active.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in field service activities.

- Working in the areas of electro-mechanical assembly and fitting, electrical/PLC controls and electronics.
