This entry-level position focuses on contributing to the development and enhancement of exposure models, leveraging skills in R, Python, or SQL, and an interest in AI and catastrophe risk modeling.

Ansvarsområden

Contribute to the development and enhancement of Moody’s Exposure Models.
Support the research, design, and implementation of exposure modeling methodologies.
Conduct primary research and analysis for model development and validation.
Develop an understanding of Moody’s products, analytical techniques, and methodologies.
Research, evaluate, and analyze datasets for exposure development globally.
Assist in developing valuation models for buildings and infrastructure assets.
Research and analyze property insurance markets and exposure landscapes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance exposure data and modeling.
Document research findings, methodologies, and analytical insights.

Krav

Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Urban Planning, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
Hands-on IT skills, in particular knowledge of R, Python, or SQL.
Interest in the social and cultural contexts that guide growth and development.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to investigate and solve problems.
Ability to work in a team.
Interest in Catastrophic Risk Modelling and Property Insurance Industry.
Basic understanding of AI concepts (Generative AI tools and Agentic AI systems).
Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency.
Willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Knowledge of building construction practices across different countries would be an advantage.
