As an Expert Technology Sourcing Manager, you will lead complex technology sourcing deals, negotiate commercial outcomes, and drive measurable savings for Nordea across the Nordics. This role requires significant experience in technology procurement, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Ansvarsområden

Lead negotiations that deliver measurable savings and lasting value across pricing, licensing, consumption commitments, renewals, service levels, and exit arrangements.
Deliver complex technology sourcing projects end-to-end, from translating business requirements into sourcing strategies to contracting and handover.
Utilize spend, licence, and consumption data, market research, and total cost of ownership models to challenge supplier proposals and identify savings.
Partner with Technology, business owners, Legal, Information Security, and Risk colleagues to assess supplier and contractual risks and agree on sourcing priorities.
Present evidence-based recommendations to Steering Committees and other mandated decision-making bodies.
Shape a proactive technology sourcing pipeline by engaging early on demand, renewals, and supplier dependencies.
Coach and mentor Sourcing colleagues, sharing practical technology knowledge, negotiation approaches, and commercial analysis.

Krav

Confident contract negotiation with strong skills across commercial schedules, service levels, audit rights, data protection, intellectual property, liability, termination and exit provisions.
A track record of delivering results with strong end-to-end sourcing and project management skills.
Analytical skills to build total cost of ownership models, test pricing scenarios, and challenge supplier proposals.
Stakeholder management skills to influence decisions across Technology, Finance, Legal, and business teams.
Practical knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, on-premises solutions, and AI-enabled products, including subscription and consumption-based pricing, licence metrics, usage rights, renewals, and supplier lock-in.
Experience working across functions and cultures, building trusted relationships, resolving competing priorities, and coordinating complex projects across locations.
Ability to identify third-party, information security, outsourcing, and operational resilience considerations, and engage appropriate control functions.
Fluent written and spoken English.
12+ years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years of commercial experience in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Substantial hands-on technology sourcing and supplier negotiation experience.
A degree in Law, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline.
