Emerson is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Sherman, TX to lead and implement comprehensive EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a strong safety culture within a manufacturing setting. This role involves risk assessments, training, environmental footprint reduction, and site security management.

Ansvarsområden

  • Cultivate a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct ES&H training programs for employees.
  • Lead efforts to reduce the organization's environmental footprint.
  • Manage all aspects of site security.
  • Act as “Management Representative” for OSHA VPP Star Certification.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety and Health, Engineering, Chemistry or safety related science.
  • Two years of experience in Environmental and Industrial Health and Safety areas including air, water and waste in manufacturing setting.
  • Applied knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Broad knowledge of hazards and chemical processes with special emphasis in manufacturing environment.
  • Broad knowledge of federal OSHA and state safety regulations and programs.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience developing and conducting training programs.
  • HAZWOPER.
  • Familiarity with ergonomics issues relevant to manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of NFPA fire and electric codes.
