Emerson is seeking an Engineering Technician in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include schematic creation, prototype assembly and troubleshooting, and system setup for testing. The ideal candidate will have an AAS in Electronics Technician Specialization or equivalent experience, with familiarity in electromechanical systems and basic electronics tools.

Ansvarsområden

Schematic creation and maintenance
Prototype assembly and troubleshooting
Soldering rework on electronic assemblies
Using basic electronic tools, including power sources, oscilloscopes and analyzers
System setup and troubleshooting for EMC, Safety & Environmental testing
Data generation and test report completion

Krav

AAS in Electronics Technician Specialization or equivalent experience
Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems
Familiarity with electronics hardware and basic electronics tools
Experience using Microsoft Office365 suite

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience using LabVIEW for measurements and automation
Experience testing for CE, Safety and Environmental certification
Experience with test and measurement equipment calibration
