Scania is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Södertälje, SE, to develop and integrate cable harness routing and installation solutions for buses using CATIA. This full-time, on-site role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create robust and production-ready electrical systems, contributing to sustainable transport solutions.
Ansvarsområden
- Design and develop electrical routing and cable harness installation solutions for Scania bus chassis using CATIA.
- Perform mechanical design of brackets and component installations related to electrical systems.
- Collaborate with electrical architects, installation engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to robust, cost-efficient, serviceable, and production-ready solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities for more efficient ways of working.
Krav
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Experience in electrical routing, cable harness installation, component installation, or mechanical design for electrical systems.
- Experience working with CATIA for electrical routing and/or mechanical design.
- Clear communication in English.
- Interest in vehicle development, mechanical installation, and electrical systems.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience from Scania or a similar automotive or heavy-vehicle development environment is a strong advantage.
- Some years of relevant experience preferred for independent work within the area.
- Driven early-career engineers and recent graduates with the right background and ambition may be considered.
