Scania is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Södertälje, SE, to develop and integrate cable harness routing and installation solutions for buses using CATIA. This full-time, on-site role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create robust and production-ready electrical systems, contributing to sustainable transport solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical routing and cable harness installation solutions for Scania bus chassis using CATIA.
Perform mechanical design of brackets and component installations related to electrical systems.
Collaborate with electrical architects, installation engineers, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to robust, cost-efficient, serviceable, and production-ready solutions.
Participate in continuous improvement activities for more efficient ways of working.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
Experience in electrical routing, cable harness installation, component installation, or mechanical design for electrical systems.
Experience working with CATIA for electrical routing and/or mechanical design.
Clear communication in English.
Interest in vehicle development, mechanical installation, and electrical systems.

Desired Qualifications

Experience from Scania or a similar automotive or heavy-vehicle development environment is a strong advantage.
Some years of relevant experience preferred for independent work within the area.
Driven early-career engineers and recent graduates with the right background and ambition may be considered.
