Alstom is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for its Mainline Project in Cairo, Egypt. This full-time, on-site role involves implementing EHS policies, driving safety culture, and ensuring compliance with international standards like ISO45001 and ISO14001.

Ansvarsområden

Implement Alstom’s EHS policies and strategies at the site level.
Lead initiatives to improve EHS performance metrics and develop a proactive EHS culture.
Support site management in achieving EHS performance goals.
Drive the implementation of EHS policies and plans aligned with Alstom’s global and regional strategies.
Advise, coach, and support operational management in EHS initiatives.
Ensure EHS risk assessments are conducted and appropriate mitigation measures are in place.
Prepare, implement, and maintain emergency plans at the site level.
Monitor and manage EHS compliance for subcontractor activities.
Lead the EHS function at the site, including coaching and developing EHS team members.
Develop and maintain the site EHS management system.
Facilitate EHS training and communication plans.
Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of accidents, incidents, and EHS performance metrics.
Conduct internal EHS audits and inspections.

Krav

10 to 15 years of professional experience in EHS roles, including experience in manufacturing, metro projects, mainline railway projects, and railway service environments.
Prior experience in railway projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
Expert knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
Certified NEBOSH or OSHA qualification.
Strong problem-solving and accident/incident investigation techniques.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with tools like Minitab.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven with strong organizational and planning skills.
Knowledge of infrastructure projects and testing/commissioning processes.
Experience with health and wellbeing initiatives, ergonomic assessments, and environmental sustainability.
