Alstom is seeking a full-time DevOps Architect in Bangalore to design and optimize scalable DevOps architectures and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based infrastructures.

Ansvarsområden

Design and optimize scalable DevOps architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate and deliver software applications seamlessly.
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams.
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies.
Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based infrastructures.
Contribute to product/system specifications and architecture.
Define software requirements, including functional, operational, and security constraints.
Ensure traceability of software requirements.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Architect and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
Collaborate with teams to streamline delivery processes.
Mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
Implement and manage monitoring and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana).
Ensure security measures and compliance controls are implemented.
Drive best practices for DevOps, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to continuous improvement using Return of Experience (RoE).

Krav

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
12+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on DevOps and CI/CD.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C, Java, Go, Bash, PowerShell).
Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) and Git.
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with automation frameworks and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP).
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Önskade kvalifikationer

Certification in DevOps or relevant architecture frameworks (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
Knowledge of the railway domain, particularly in signalling, power supply, or system engineering, is a bonus.
