Data Center Operations designs, installs & maintains the world’s largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure. Seeking a skilled Data Centre Operation Technician at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) to help expand AWS Cloud offerings. This role involves server rack installation, hardware break-fix, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to emergent situations.
Ansvarsområden
- Maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure.
- Server rack installation, hardware break-fix on various components, and troubleshooting network issues.
- Responding to emergent situations that affect operational stability.
- Primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
- Work and meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.
- First line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues.
- Perform on-call duties and participate in Data Center operations, handling scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
- Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and to discuss achieving daily/weekly goals.
- Contribute to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in training less experienced members of the team (for more experienced technicians).
Krav
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
- Ability to lift & rack equipment up to 18kg.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations.
- Adherence to health & safety guidelines.
- Willingness to cover 24x7 shift rotation.
