Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is seeking a skilled Data Centre Operation Technician to join their AWS Infrastructure Services team in Hyderabad. This role involves the maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure, including hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, and responding to operational incidents, contributing to the expansion of AWS Cloud offerings.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure.
  • Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and perform first-line hardware troubleshooting.
  • Participate in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
  • Contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Document technical issues through root cause analysis and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Potentially assist in training less experienced team members.

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg.
  • Willingness to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations adhering to health & safety guidelines.
  • Availability to cover 24x7 shift rotation.
