AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Data Centre Operation Technician in Hyderabad, India, to maintain and operate large-scale cloud computing infrastructure. Responsibilities include server rack installation, hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, and responding to operational incidents in a 24x7 environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and upkeep of the data center infrastructure.
  • Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Act as the primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and perform first-line hardware troubleshooting.
  • Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
  • Adherence to health & safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to cover 24x7 shift rotation.
