As a Data Center Manager for AWS Infrastructure Services in Hyderabad, you will lead high-performing teams responsible for the design, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role involves optimizing operational excellence, building new data centers, and managing vendor relationships while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and develop teams of Data Center Technicians, providing technical and leadership expertise.
  • Maintain existing co-located and in-house Data Centers in India.
  • Assist in building and bringing online new Data Centers in India.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Liaise with internal teams and management groups.
  • Ensure adherence to and exceeding local Health & Safety standards.
  • Create and maintain metrics to drive positive changes in data center operations.
  • Assist in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity management).

Krav

  • 7+ years of operations management experience.
  • 5+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience.
  • Experience in facilities management.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in software development and technical support.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent STEM field.
  • 3+ months of network and operating system support experience.
  • 2+ years of Agile methods and processes experience.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean processes.
  • Experience creating and implementing large-scale programs.
  • 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or similar experience.
