Responsibilities
- Manage and develop teams of Data Center Technicians, providing technical and leadership expertise.
- Maintain existing co-located and in-house Data Centers in India.
- Assist in building and bringing online new Data Centers in India.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
- Liaise with internal teams and management groups.
- Ensure adherence to and exceeding local Health & Safety standards.
- Create and maintain metrics to drive positive changes in data center operations.
- Assist in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity management).
Requirements
- 7+ years of operations management experience.
- 5+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience.
- Experience in facilities management.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Experience in software development and technical support.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent STEM field.
- 3+ months of network and operating system support experience.
- 2+ years of Agile methods and processes experience.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean processes.
- Experience creating and implementing large-scale programs.
- 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or similar experience.
